Get Healthy or Go Home

Health is something many people take for granted daily.  From junk food, to fast food, we as Americans are known to stuff our faces, without any regard to the consequences.  When it comes to diet, exercise and health in general, below are several reasons why you should think before you pick up that cookie.

If you have too much fat stored on your body-especially around your mid-section- you are more at risk to many health problems such as high blood pressure, and high cholesterol, heart disease, and several types of cancer which includes but is not limited prostate, gallbladder, ovarian, and cervical–which are more difficult to find.

When you are younger it is easier to correct the mistakes you have made about your health, and if those mistakes aren’t corrected, you may suffer the consequences later on in life.    The elderly are more prone to memory loss, and Arthritis, but if your health is not in good standing as a senior citizen, the progression of these diseases is more rapid, and severe.

Your health is in YOUR hands.  Make it a point to exercise 30 minutes every other day, and to have a serving of fruits or vegetables at every meal.  Biting the bullet to do so will not only impact your life and health in a positive way, but will help keep you disease free, and live a long, healthy life.
