Ever since high school you have been begging your rights for privacy. You’ve slammed the door in the face of an irritating younger brother and sarcastically explained to your mom how important it is for a teenager to have their own little world. There is just somethinga bout having a place all your own, where you stash your secrets and forge a unique identity. Privacy is definately the kind of thing most young people prize, and once they have tasted even a little bit of it they are loathe to let it go.
Veranda Place understands this concept perfectly! While most college students are forced to share living quarters and a bathroom with another person, probably a complete stranger, the college based apartments are definately on the other side of the spectrum. They get how important it is to not only have your own lockable room but how fabulous it feels to not have to share something as private as a bathroom with someone else. Private bathrooms insure that you don’t have to clean up after someone else’s disgusting mess or unplug hair from the faucet that wasn’t even yours to start with. If you value privacy and the idea that personal space is a must than you will ove how Veranda Place right near Texas Pan Am accomodates even the most discriminating person.

Monday, May 31st, 2010Kris Allen to Perform in Hunstville!
Monday, May 31st, 2010We all came to know Kris Allen during the eighth season of the hit television show, American Idol. Since winning the show in 2009, his popularity has been on the rise. His first album “Kris Allen” was released in the fall of 2009 and had a U.S. debut at number eleven on the Billboard 200 chart. The singles that Allen has released have seen great success, all of them landing in the top twenty on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
The singer will be going on tour again this summer, headlining most of the shows. This is really the first time the young star has been on tour since the end of the American Idol tour last year. He will be playing with bands like Maroon 5 and VV Brown for some performances and for other performances he has invited some local bands to join him on stage. On June 11, 2010, the Kris Allen tour will make a stop at the Crossroads Café in Huntsville, Alabama. The show starts at 7:30 that evening and tickets are $22.00. Bargain Shopping in Greensboro
Monday, May 31st, 2010I know that a lot of us will be moving into a new apartment this fall and you may be wondering where to go to find just the right decorations. The Super Flea Market at the Greensboro Coliseum is one of the largest in the state and features hundreds of dealers from throughout the Southeast. The Super Flea Market was established in 1976, and since then it has had a great reputation. The Market is open for two days each month, and you are sure to find an array of unique items each time you visit. Dealers sale anything from antiques, jewelry, new items, used items, and much more. In 2004 a man bought a pack of postcards from a dealer for seventy-five cents, and later that day the same man stopped by a Super Flea Market exhibitor specializing in autographs. One of the postcards that the man had bought had been signed by Babe Ruth, thus making the card instantly skyrocket in value.
So if you are looking for some cool and unique decorations for your apartment or room, maybe consider stopping by the Super Flea Market sometime this summer. You never know what you may find, and who knows it could actually turn out to be something that could make you a little extra cash.
