Bradford Place residents and IU students, the Indiana Memorial Union Board and Spirit of ‘68 Promotions are joining together to present music by headliner, Vampire Weekend with Beach House and Dum Dum Girls at the IU Auditorium on September 6th. The 7pm event will be a great way to start off the new school year.

Vampire Weekend was named 2008’s Best New Band by Spin magazine. Earlier this year, the New York-based indie rock band released its second album, “Contra.” Their sophomore album was the band’s first to debut at #1 on the Billboard 200. Since the release, the band has been traveling around the world appearing on SNL with host, Zach Galifanakis, the Colbert Report, and many musical festivals, including the Festival Internacional de Benicàssim in Spain.
