			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Calling all UTPA students, ventriloquist/comedian Jeff Dunham is set to perform at American Bank Center on Thursday, February 23rd as part of his nationwide tour. Dunham, who is credited with reviving ventriloquism, has been dubbed &#8220;America&#8217;s favorite comedian&#8221; by Slate.com and according to the concert industry publication <em>Pollstar</em>, he is the top grossing standup act in America.</p>
<p>Dunham&#8217;s hilarious act includes various characters including Achmed the Dead Terrorist (whose introduction video on YouTube is the 9th most watched video of all time), and Walter, a disgruntled elderly man who has a negative and sarcastic view of today&#8217;s world. <em>Time Magazine</em> describes Dunham&#8217;s characters as &#8220;politically incorrect, gratuitously insulting, and ill-tempered.&#8221; In response to critics highlighting the offensive nature of his show, Dunham stated, &#8220;As a standup comic, it is my job to make the majority of people laugh, and I believe that comedy is the last true form of free speech.&#8221;</p>
<p>If you&#8217;re looking forward to a night of uncontrollable laughter, this is a show that you don&#8217;t want to miss. It will definitely be worth the two hour drive. <p>In recent years, researchers have found that the human body needs only as much sleep as the brain will allow it. So as long as the brain is functioning at full capacity, there&#8217;s no great requirement for sleep. The brain needs a rest every now and then, and apparently, it can refresh itself and go on &#8220;like with a full tank of gas&#8221; with just a short, 20-minute power nap.</p>
<p>The following are the most significant benefits of taking a 20 minute power nap during the day:</p>
<p>1. <strong>Less stress</strong> - Research has found that individuals who take naps have reduced stress hormone levels.</p>
<p>2. <strong>Increased alertness and productivity</strong> - A power nap can be the perfect mid-day boost needed to finish out the day on a strong note.</p>
<p>3. <strong>Better Health</strong> - Napping in general benefits heart functioning, hormonal maintenance, and cell repair.</p>
