Glass Sale Coming to UT - Arlington

Thursday, March 18th, 2010

Are you in need of quality glassware but you’re on a budget? Check out the annual glass art sale at UT - Arlington on Friday, April 2 from 9 AM to 4 PM. The sale will feature paperweights, vases, and other functional items priced at $25 or less and it is an opportunity to buy world class glass for a fraction of what you would pay at a factory.

Shoppers can participate in a silent auction from 9 AM to 1 PM which will feature works by program director David Keens, a recipient of the Texas Art Award whose work has been featured in America, Asia, and Europe.

The UT Arlington glass art program is recognized as one of the most prestigious programs in the nation and attracts talented artists from across the USA. The glass sale brings significant funding to the development of the program and goes toward the purchase of materials and equipment. The faculty and staff also develop the program’s state-of-the-art equipment.

So head on over to the glass art sale and upgrade your glassware inventory because this event only happens once a year!
