So Much to Do, So Little Time!

Tuesday, April 13th, 2010

As we all know, the end of the school year makes for some stressful times, but it also makes for some of the craziest times of the year.  The anticipation of the summer coming up and saying goodbye to some friends for a few months, we are all trying to cram in as many memories as possible in such a short amount of time.

In Raleigh there is always something to do alone or with friends to make great memories.  From shopping, to parks, to bars and clubs, Raleigh is the ideal place for many people.  April and May are packed full of many concerts in Raleigh and at least one artist performing is sure to suit anyone’s taste.  Nickelback, Taylor Swift, Jack Johnson, and John Mayer are just a handful of artists performing within the next few months.

Even if you decide not to go out on the town, there will be parties, parties, and more parties these last few weeks of school.  There is no excuse for you to stay in every day and night, unless you have exams or finals the next day.  Whatever you decide to do, make the most out of it, and remember that college is supposed to be the most memorable time of our lives!

John Mayer.  In the recent past when we hear his name a few things come to mind: Relationships, tabloids, and break-ups.  But is that all to him?  The answer is a definite NO.

John Mayer is a contemporary singer/ songwriter who attended the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston before he decided to move to Atlanta to pursue a career in the music industry.  He is known for his musical talent that appeals to both men and women, as well as the young and the old.  In 2001 after producing his first studio album “Room for Squares,” his fame grew rapidly.  From his first album to his current album “Battle Studies”, John Mayer knows how to keep his fans intrigued and the spotlight on him at all times.

Monday March 15, 2010 John Mayer will be performing at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex starting at 7:30 pm, and tickets are still available! Conveniently, the vendor is located about two miles away from UNC Greensboro and about 2.6 miles east of Spring Place Apartments.   Driving two miles down the road to see John Mayer perform is an ideal way to kick start the second half of the semester, and is definitely an experience to be remembered.
