So Much to Do, So Little Time!

Tuesday, April 13th, 2010

As we all know, the end of the school year makes for some stressful times, but it also makes for some of the craziest times of the year.  The anticipation of the summer coming up and saying goodbye to some friends for a few months, we are all trying to cram in as many memories as possible in such a short amount of time.

In Raleigh there is always something to do alone or with friends to make great memories.  From shopping, to parks, to bars and clubs, Raleigh is the ideal place for many people.  April and May are packed full of many concerts in Raleigh and at least one artist performing is sure to suit anyone’s taste.  Nickelback, Taylor Swift, Jack Johnson, and John Mayer are just a handful of artists performing within the next few months.

Even if you decide not to go out on the town, there will be parties, parties, and more parties these last few weeks of school.  There is no excuse for you to stay in every day and night, unless you have exams or finals the next day.  Whatever you decide to do, make the most out of it, and remember that college is supposed to be the most memorable time of our lives!

Wednesday, March 17th, 2010

Saturday April 17th, about halfway through their tour, the Grammy nominated band Nickelback will be performing at the Greensboro Collesium.  The concert will start off with special guests Breaking Benjamin, and Sick Puppies, who are both features of Nickelback’s 2010 Dark Horse World Tour.

Nickelback is a band who is very fond of success.  From multi-platinum albums, to Grammy nominations, it is safe to say that this band has been nothing short of outstanding.  Nickelback appeals to all ages, and it is their meaningful and easy to relate to lyrics that captured the hearts of their loyal fans.  From hard rock songs such as Rockstars, to love songs such as Never Gonna Be Alone, Nickelback never fails to connect with their audience.  Even as mega-stars, Nickelback always finds a way to relate to the good and the bad of life.

What is more amazing than the music of this group, is that despite all the fame and success they have achieved the past decade, they remain grounded, and true to themselves.  Their main goal is to make music their fans will keep coming back to, and that is something they have indeed achieved.

Nickelback is known for sold out concerts, and this concert is sure to be no different.  For questions, comments, or to purchase a ticket visit Ticket Master at http://www.ticketmaster.com.
