Attention all UNLV students, ventriloquist/comedian Jeff Dunham is set to perform at The Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace on Friday, December 2nd and Saturday, December 3rd. Dunham, who is credited with reviving ventriloquism, has been dubbed “America’s favorite comedian” by Slate.com and according to the concert industry publication Pollstar, he is the top grossing standup act in America.

Dunham’s hilarious act includes various characters including Achmed the Dead Terrorist (whose introduction video on YouTube is the 9th most watched video of all time), and Walter, a disgruntled elderly man who has a negative and sarcastic view of today’s world. Time Magazine describes Dunham’s characters as “politically incorrect, gratuitously insulting, and ill-tempered.” In response to critics highlighting the offensive nature of his show, Dunham stated, “As a standup comic, it is my job to make the majority of people laugh, and I believe that comedy is the last true form of free speech.”
