Toy Story 3: Movie of the Year?

Monday, June 21st, 2010

The third iteration of Disney/Pixar’s Toy Story franchise is most definitely a hit. Grossing $110 Million in its opening weekend and garnering rave reviews across the critical spectrum, the animated film is easily one of the biggest movies of the year.

The movie begins with Andy Davis (the owner of the toys), preparing for college. He decides to bring Woody with him and packs the other toys in a bag which he intended to store in the attic of his home. Unfortunately, his mother assumes that the bag is trash and takes it outside. Believing that Andy no longer wants them, the toys sneak into a box to be donated to a local daycare center. Woody, the only toy who saw Andy’s mom’s mistake, is forced to go to the daycare center with the other toys. Woody tries to convince the other toys to return with him, but they decide that they are happier being at the daycare center. Can Andy reunite with his beloved toys? See the movie and find out for yourself.
